When you have a loose bottom on (like this skirt), we usually pair it with a top that’s more fitting than equally loose. But because I like the unusual, I tried pairing it with a loose polo top. What do you think of the result? I think it would’ve been better if I had my hair up or at least tied because I’m a mess here! haha! I noticed how much What A Girl Wants I have in my closet too! The clothes are very affordable and very chic at the same time! What else can you ask for?? And let me just say, these shoes have to be one of my favorites. It’s so sexyyy!

Class, meet your new math teacher! haha! I don’t know why but with my hair tied up like this, it sort of reminds me of your typical school teacher. Amazing how the choice of hair style can change your look almost completely! Why math? Well, let’s just say I took Dentistry for a reason. : )
We have been super busy with our next collection and shoot this saturday that I haven’t had much time to post anything. So many pending posts already! I’m really excited for the shoot though because with God’s grace, we managed to gather only the best group of people from photographer to models to MUA. Can’t wait!!

Okay so remember the giveaway contest from Extreme Finds? Well, we kinda won!! WOHOOOO!! And we couldn’t have won without everyone’s unending support! When Cha, the owner, suggested we submit our blog photos, we were very hesitant at first but after a lot of convincing from my sister I decided to give it a shot. There was nothing to lose right? I definitely did not expect the amount of support we received from both family and friends who stayed behind their computers till midnight making sure we win this thing! You can’t imagine all the trouble everyone went through just to help us. This contest made me realize how unbelievably blessed I am to be born into this amazing family. I love it when my nails match my whole outfit!
I really liked how the photos came out that I didn’t even bother editing anymore. Ever since I bought this new lens, taking “professional looking” pictures can’t be any easier! Most photographers suggested I buy the 35mm lens instead of my 50mm f1.8 but because the price difference is huge and I realize it’s only for my blog, I settled for this one. Do you think I made the right choice? : )
Just to update you on THE STYLOGIST’s new collection!
We will be releasing it by first week of May while we’re in Bangkok. Last week I felt so uneasy because we haven’t started with the collection yet. I already had both materials and designs but somehow I couldn’t put the two together! We are so pressed with time because we can’t release a Summer collection by the end of the Summer now can we? You just can’t imagine how frustrated I was! I also thought I had to top people’s expectations for this collection but eventually I came to my senses and prayed. Thankfully in a matter of two days, we’re halfway done! The shoot is already scheduled next week! I hope your excited because I am!! : )

Thank you so much to my Siko-tiu (uncle) for taking my pictures. I had a lot of fun if it wasn’t so obvious in the pictures already! I think we only took these in 5 minutes before we left the house! My look was inspired by the Jackie O. Kennedy era/60′s vibe. I’ve always loved the fashion of women in the 50′s or 60′s! Remember those cute dresses and matching shoes Allie wore in The Notebook? I loved that movie not only because of the amazing story line but really because of the setting as well. This dress was actually given by my Grandmother who coincidently likes to dress from her era up to date! When your surrounded by people in the family like that, your inspiration is endless.

Because none of my siblings were with me that time and I realized the sun is about to disappear, I asked my yaya to take my pictures. Boy did I have the hardest time choosing which one to post! I was always either cut out of the picture or blurred. :/ My yaya has a lot to learn! haha!

I didn’t know what to wear that day so I just got a random shirt, paired it with some random shorts and because there was only 5 minutes left before we leave the house for an appointment, I grabbed the blazer and completed the look! Contrary to popular belief, I don’t usually know what to wear in the morning. In fact, packing for my last trip out of town was the most tiring thing I’ve done this Summer! Maybe it’s because I don’t always shop like most bloggers so I have less to work with. Although, I can’t be more contented with the things I do have so I’m not complaining either! : )
On the other note, have you heard about the casting of the Phantom of the Opera in Cebu? I’ve always dreamed of taking part in a broadway show one day even if it’s just a local production. Today is the last day for auditions and I was so troubled yesterday deciding to go or not to go. Then after I’ve prayed about it, I realized I can’t handle living two dreams at one time! haha! Ambitious me! The Lord simply says…

A lot of mixed emotions in this series of pictures! I wanted to shift to a sweeter more feminine look because I feel I’m being too edgy these days when I used to be all pastel and girly. My sister and I actually auditioned for something yesterday but I can’t tell you guys what it was yet. She gets me into so many things and I always somehow give in to them! She did the same last summer when she told me, “Let’s do our own clothing line!” and since then I’ve never regretted it one bit. So even if all her ideas are equally crazy I’m just gonna have to trust her! Life’s too short you know. Seize the day and just chase after your dreams now than later before regret catches up to you.
This verse is probably one of the few I actually memorize. It helps me get through days when I have to remind myself who I’m doing all this for.
Trust in the LORD with all your heart
and lean not on your own understanding;
in all your ways submit to him,
