Confession

May 26, 2012

Forever21 bangle/ From Divisoria ringSteve Madden wedgesSuper casual look on a busy summer weekday. Here I am again wearing leggings! haha! You guys know how I used to dislike them but when paired with sky high wedges like these, you can’t go wrong! I wanted to go for a very laid back look but still chic and sophisticated. Little gold accessories here and there would always do the trick. Thank you so much to Christianne and Iris of  Sugar Kissed for the necklace! I absolutely looove their accessories esp. because they’re all handmade (with love!) by the owners. We actually got to work with them for our third collection, BY IMPRINT and they’ve been so kind as to collaborate with us.Forever21 top/Guess? polo/Giordano leggingsSugar Kissed necklace

So about the title?…well, the reason I haven’t been posting a lot lately is because I just got an eyelid surgery. They said you can’t call it a surgery since they only did a few sutures but what the hell. haha! I will be having yet another long hiatus from my blog because first of all, I have to allow it to heal. I can’t wear my contacts or any eye make-up either so I hope you guys understand! : ) Please don’t judge me or anything I absolutely think girls with monolids are just as beautiful but after two years, I’ve gotten used to myself with double eyelids so I decided to have it on permanently. I will be posting a few more other backlog outfit posts in the next few days though…

Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect.

Versatility

Espada Cardigan/Just G. top/Guess? shorts/Giordano leggings/From Bangkok necklace/Tory Burch sandals

I was going to wear this outfit without the shorts but because I forgot to bring a belt to clinch my waist, I looked pregnant. haha! So, I made do with what I had and wore shorts instead. I really don’t know how this outfit came to be but I wish I wore low cut boots or a pair of heels . Unfortunately, I couldn’t find laced up low cut boots in Bangkok! : ( And since  it was more of a vacation for me than a fashion show, I didn’t mind… till now! haha! Like I said before, I was never a fan of pants/leggings so this is me trying to be versatile.

Before I end this post, I’d really like for you guys to check out this new blog called The Style Saviour. The chic girls behind this, Flaminia and Martina, have been so kind as to feature my blog and shop in their website! : )

Thank you again girls!

For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, not a result of works, so that no one may boast.

Photoblog: Bangkok DAY 1

May 20, 2012

I’m no photog but here’s a couple of pics I’d like to share from my trip to Bangkok. :) Enjoy!
GRABEH! I looove PAL! I mean people usually hate airplane food but to me, it’s the best part of the flight! hehe! End it with this heavenly piece of theeng and it only spells perfection. haha! They actually have Munchkins too but I thought this was funny. :>On our first day, we went to Siam Paragon. The mall was packed with people! Although we didn’t do much shopping, I was beyond amused at how everyone was so chic and all dressed up. I’ve been to a couple of Asian countries but I find that the people in Bangkok are most fashionable. Ever find yourself stand out in a crowd always feeling overdressed? Well, not in Bangkok!
And believe it or not, I spotted 5 to 10 people who’s hair was as perfect as this! How do they do that?!? They took being ‘effortlessly chic’ to the next level! The following day we went to Dream World. I’ve blogged about what I wore here. Unlike any other amusement park, they have the most interesting statues!
I like to show off sometimes. HAHA!Cute kid trying to feed the elephant!Same kid riding the elephant! haha!Very convincing eh?
This was actually a sign that pointed where the toilet was. haha!I particularly loved the love garden. I <3 my Cheetos. I’ve never touched real snow before so being inside this huge dome-like building full of it was a dream come true! haha! If only I wore gloves and a pair of jeans…
My feeees is so frozen in this picture hahahaha! Thank you Daddy for insisting I stand among the sunflowers! haha! How cool is it that they have miniature statues of the 7 wonders of the world??At night, we took the dinner cruise at the Chaopraya River. It was breathtaking. The Royal Palace

The little feeling “princess” in me still has thing for countries that have royals. Disney can be very influential you know.

No fuss

May 19, 2012

Forever21 blazer and shorts/Vintage top

Whenever I travel, I don’t really like bringing a lot of accessories with me. For one, it adds to the weight of my baggage (the extra weight reserved for shopping! haha!) and they usually get in the way of things. Bloggers make it seem real easy wearing all those piled up accessories but sometimes I just wanna forget about blogging and be more laid back and fuss free. Which explains why most of my current looks don’t involve a lot of accessories.

Call It Springs shoes

P.S. I wore this to a day of shopping in Bangkok, so of course I didn’t wear these sky high heels throughout the day! : )

Safari world

The Stylogist robe/ Plains and Prints top/WAGW shorts/Tory Burch sandals/Longchamp bag/The Little Black Market necklace

For our third day in Bangkok, we went to Safari world. Its almost like Singapore’s Night Safari only 10x bigger! You can’t imagine how many animals they have or how ginormous the park was! Usually parks have at at least 5 to maybe 7 tigers/lions but they have more than 15! Not kidding! I counted! teehee! I’ll be blogging more about the place in my next post. : )

I was already dressed up in this outfit on the second day but my mom insisted I wear the look when we’re going to the safari! Very safari appropriate to you? haha! Me mom thinkss! Don’t let the sheer robe fool you! The weather that day was crazy. It was insanely hot and then it would suddenly rain! Urgh. But how could you resist the yummy print on this robe? The things I do for fashion… <3

Look at the birds of the air: they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more value than they?

It’s so fluffy!!

May 15, 2012

Forever21 blazer/Maldita top/Guess? shorts/So Fab! shoes/Longchamp bag

This top is so fluffy!! Some people find it rather funny but I find it adorable! What do you think? A lot of weird things to people are sometimes considered fashionable to others. Many times my brothers don’t even understand what I’m wearing! haha! In the end, it all just depends on personal style. Fashion doesn’t set limitations on wearing only what the current trends are. It’s all about incorporating your own distinctive style by adding a part of yourself in the ensemble.

How beautiful upon the mountains are the feet of him who brings good news, who publishes peace, who brings good news of happiness, who publishes salvation, who says to Zion, “Your God reigns.”

Monochromatic

Welcome to Dream World! haha!
Vintage leotard/Plains and Prints shorts/shoes from Korea/ The Little Black Market necklace/Lacoste sunnies

Part of our itinerary in Bangkok, aside from the days set for shopping, was to go to Dream World. If HongKong has Ocean Park and Korea has Everland, Bangkok has it’s own amusement park too, conveniently called Dream World!  haha! And like any amusement park, there were just too many places to pick a spot for an outfit post! Solution? Take a shot in every blog-worthy location! How ’bout it? : ) For my outfit, don’t worry I won’t be wearing leotards again on my next post! It’s just that, who could resist these vintage lace leotards? I don’t always go monochromatic because I like playing with color here and there but I really liked how this look turned out. No accessories of course! Wouldn’t want them flying around while your on the rides! Promise to blog about the place I’ve been to in Bangkok soon. <3

The grass withers, the flower fades, but the word of our God will stand forever.

HAUTE ITEMS

May 11, 2012

Introducing the latest line by THE STLOGIST featuring bags and accessories that are both incredibly trendy and affordable!

If you wish to view the full collection, click here

I’m quite happy with the way the photos came out. What do you think? It’s very newb since we just take these photos ourselves but I like the contrast of green from the bush (yes it is a bush from our garden HAHA!) and colors of the clutches. People find it interesting that the background of our products are laid down in grass, so ever since the first collection, we’ve been doing the same thing! Hope you like our new line! : ) Drop by a few comments to let us know what you think!

We’re very sorry we had to postpone the launching of our latest collection to today. Here’s a teaser!

“I am the Alpha and the Omega,” says the Lord God, “who is and who was and who is to come, the Almighty.”

Wanna go for a swim?

May 10, 2012

Because I find this pic very dramatic….HAHAHA. It was SUPER hot that day. So Fab! shoes

Vintage leotard/ Forever21 pants/WAGW detachable collar

I was packing for Bangkok when I found this leotard in my mom’s closet. Can you believe women of the 90′s actually used these leotards for exercise? My siblings kept teasing me because it looked like I was going for a swim! haha! I couldn’t resist wearing it because it looked perfect with my blue harem pants. What do you think? I actually wore this to a meeting on my first day in Manila. A lot of great things ahead for The Stylogist! It has been 5 months since we launched our first collection and tomorrow evening, we will already be releasing our latest collection yet! We will also be launching another line called Haute Items under The Stylogist. This line showcases bags and maybe a few accessories from abroad. Stay tuned!!

The Lord will fulfill his purpose for me; your steadfast love, O Lord, endures forever.

Minimalism

May 1, 2012

Forever21 blazer/random tank top/ The Stylogist shots/VNC wedges

These are days when I don’t feel like wearing any accessories. Although I truly believe that they can perfectly complete a look, sometimes it just gets in the way of things especially when I’m off doing errands so I’d rather leave them at home! We’re finally done with the shoot for the next collection. I feel like a truck load has been lifted off my shoulder! Our trip to Bangkok is a perfect way to relieve all this stress. If only packing wasn’t such a hard task to do… : (  Still, I’m grateful for how everything turned out these past few days.

What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?
